Another effort that could avoid these incidences is by ensuring traffic police are most keen during the peak times. As it is an offense against a country’s law, this way works because of the penalties imposed on the crime. Large sums of money may be demanded as fine and a jail term applied if the crime has destructive or fatal results. The drunk driver can end up losing their driving license.
Drunk driving has a lot of negative outcomes for all the parties involved in it. People will never stop taking alcohol meaning drunk driving can never stop as well. The the crime of driving while drunk would best be handled if the punishment that comes with it is made severe. People have a responsibility to learn the many moral lessons that drunk driving present to have generational changes. Children should be taught from their young age the repercussions of drunk driving and that they may grow up having that knowledge. In this way, changes to the next generation is achieved then drunk driving can be a thing of the past
